Swedish Royal Family visited Pau city of France

Swedish Royal Family, that is, King Carl XVI Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended celebrations in Pau city of France, held in connection with the 200th anniversary of Bernadotte dynasty's accession to the throne. The day began with the inauguration of renovated Bernadotte Museum. The Royal Family then attended a reception held at Pau municipality building. In the afternoon, King Carl XVI Gustaf will plant an oak tree at Beaumont Park where his grandfather, Oscar II planted a magnolia on April 11, 1899.
