Imperial family members attended the wedding banquet of Princess Ayako and Kei Moriya

On Tuesday, imperial family members, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and about 70 dignitaries attended the wedding banquet of the former Princess Ayako, the youngest daughter of Emperor Akihito's late cousin, and her husband Kei Moriya in Tokyo. The couple got married a few days ago. Crown Prince Naruhito and Crown Princess Masako of Japan also attended the banquet held at New Otani Hotel in Tokyo. Princess Ayako, the 28-year-old daughter of late Prince Takamado lost her royal status after getting married to Kei Moriya, a 32-year-old employee of shipping company Nippon Yusen K.K. (Former Princess Ayako wore a pink silk dress designed by Norio Suzuki, a designer who has been working for Takamado family for a long time.)
