| On August 31, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands attended a military award ceremony held in Hague. At the ceremony, King Willem-Alexander presented "Military William Order" medal to Apache Major-Flyer Roy de Ruiter. "Military William Order" is one of the highest military awards of the Netherlands. Major-Flyer Roy de Ruiter was awarded for his heroic actions in Afghanistan and Jordan. (During the ceremony, Queen Maxima wore a new NATAN dress.) |
