Today, there were two events at Zarzuela Palace. Queen Letizia of Spain firstly received representatives of Spanish Asperger Confederation (Asperger España). Asperger syndrome is one of the most common and least known of the Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The Queen then met with representatives of ONCE (Organización Nacional de Ciegos Españoles), which celebrates 80th anniversary of its establishment. ONCE is a Spanish foundation founded on December 13, 1938, to raise funds to provide services for the blind and people with serious visual impairment. |
