Japanese Princess Ayako got engaged to Kei Moriya

The Imperial Household Agency announced that Princess Ayako, the youngest daughter of Emperor Akihito's late cousin got informally engaged to Kei Moriya. On July 2, 2018, Princess Ayako of Takamado and her fiance Kei Moriya attend a press conference on their engagement at the Imperial Household Agency in Tokyo. The couple will officially mark their engagement on August 12, and wed at Tokyo's Meiji Jingu shrine on October 29. After the princess married Kei Moriya, she will leave the Imperial Household according to the Imperial House Act and will lose the title of Princess.
