| Today is the 50th birthday of Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark. On the occasion of that birthday, various events are held. On May 26, Queen Margrethe, Crown Prince Frederik, Crown Princess Mary and their children Princess Isabella, Prince Christian, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine watched changing of the Royal Guards at Amalienborg Palace Square from the balcony of Frederik VIII Palace and greeted the crowd that gathered in front of the palace. On the occasion of the 50th birthday celebrations of the Crown Prince, the Queen will host a gala banquet at Christiansborg Palace this evening. (Princess Mary is wearing her VILSHENKO dress) |
