Ximending is a fusion of Times Square in NYC and Mongkok in HK.
I booked a hotel in Ximending area so every night during the short visit to Taipei, Taiwan I walked on the streets here.
The area is one big showcase of neon lights. Shops open until late. People are everywhere. There is street food all over the place and long queues for some of the lucky ones. There are lots to see, do, eat and buy here!
If one needs to while away time in the evening in Taipei, then you've got the night markets and Ximending =)
