| Crown Princess Mary of Denmark became the new patron of DR Pigekoret (Danish National Girls Choir) which consists of 50 girls between the ages of 15 and 22 and which is conducted by conductor Philip Faber. Danish National Girls Choir was established in 1938 as a part of the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) and in this year's Autumn, it will celebrate 80th anniversary of its establishment. The choir gives more than 60 concerts every year and most of these concerts take place in Denmark. |
