| On January 10, 2018, Queen Letizia of Spain attended BBVA Foundation ordinary Advisory Board meeting held for the purpose of reviewing common language mistakes in media and discussing solutions. Journalists, linguists and academicians attended the meeting held at EFE Offices in Madrid. The main purpose of the Foundation is to protect unity and "purity" of Spanish language. It encourages all media including printed press, television and internet to use Spanish well. |
