Morning ladies today I thought we'd take a peek at Laura Ashley, a brand that may not fully be on your radar but should be. As not only do they do stunning items for the home but they also have some lovely clothing that is beautifully made & best of all because their clothing range is a hidden gem you don't have to worry about bumping into someone else wearing the same piece :-)
From pretty white tops, to tailored boiled wool biker jackets, to classic cigarette pants & skinny jeans Laura Ashley have got you covered this season.
Navy Boiled Wool Biker Jacket also available in grey here
As you can see from the outfits I've put together there's some great pieces that would prove really versatile additions to any wardrobe. Including the below frill detail chambray shirt, which for those of you who loved the Isabel Marant version makes a great purse friendly alternative.
I don't think I need to tell you how 'useful' a pretty white blouse or embroidered black top can be for a night out with the girls. Plus this skirt is very similar to something I snapped up in the summer sales & is ideal for teaming with a camisole & denim jacket during the better weather then layered with a jumper, biker jacket & ankle boots come winter.
I'm also loving the idea of this pretty dress teamed with some edge pieces like a leather biker jacket & biker boots.
I've been lucky enough to have been sent a few pieces from Laura Ashley, all of which I love & which I've styled below.
Starting with this boiled wool biker jacket, which is just brilliant & a great cross between a cardi & jacket, not to mention easy to wear, whilst being lovely & warm. A great wardrobe staple that can be dressed up or down & can be worn with anything from trousers, jeans, skirts or dresses so definitely a great all rounder.
Now you all know by now how much I can't resist a pretty white top so it goes without saying that I've loving this new white blouse. The texture adds a lovely bit of interest & the frill detailing around the neckline & cuffs is so me. Plus the fabric is extremely soft & even better it doesn't crease easily - what more could you ask for?!
In terms of sizing I'm wearing an 8 in both & I would say they're pretty true to size.
I've teamed the above with a simple pair of cropped kick flare jeans & I'm accessorising with a splash of metallic, with this pewter shopping styled bag. Perfect for fitting all my essentials in (including the kitchen sink, should you require ;-) ). I just love the finish, which is what I'd describe as a worn in look & not solid silver so not too bling-tastic. It's also available in several other colours here - so definitely worth a peek.
