Princess Mako of Japan got engaged to Kei Komuro

On Sunday, The Imperial Household Agency announced that Princess Mako, the eldest grandchild of Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko got engaged to Kei Komuro, her former classmate. It is planned to hold the wedding of the couple after the first half of the next year. At the press conference held by the couple both aged 25 in Akasaka district of Tokyo, they stated that their relationship began 5 years ago at the university. In Japan where women can not accede to the throne, Princess Mako will lose the title of Princess since she will get married to a person from the public.
