(CFI) Chinese Film ‘Angels Wear White’ to Compete for Golden Lion at Venice Film Festival

The 74th Venice Film Festival announced its full lineup on July 27. Chinese film ‘Angels Wear White’ has been selected to compete for the Golden Lion Award, the highest prize offered by the festival. ‘Angels Wear White’ is directed by Vivian Qu whose work ‘Black Coal, Thin Ice’ won Golden Bear Award at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2014.

 In addition, several Chinese language movies, including Tsai Ming-liang’s ‘The Deserted’, are selected to compete in the Virtual Reality section at the festival. Mtime.
