| On February 28, 2017, Sophie, Countess of Wessex opened new facility for blind veterans in Llandudno, Wales. The building has been built after a £1.25m grant from the Veterans Accommodation Fund. Blind Veterans UK, is a large national charity in the United Kingdom, providing free support and services to vision impaired ex-Armed Forces and National Service personnel in the UK. |
