(Toggle) While promoting her her new album, "A Hundred and One", in Taipei, Joey Yung revealed that her mother had lung cancer and that she had started to observe a vegetarian diet last year in hope of her mother’s recovery.
Now that her mother’s health is stable, Joey will be able to eat meat again around the Lunar New Year.
At the age of 36, she said her career aspirations had become stronger and hoped she’d continue to be successful in 2017.
She joked that she and her boyfriend had met each other only once because they are both so busy.
When asked how they managed to maintain their relationship, she said, "We have learned to cope with each other for four years. We understand each other and so everything is all right."
When asked about their marriage plans, she said that she planned to marry at the age of 40.
"It’s not easy to be pregnant and have children. There is a lot to learn about taking care of the children and sharing your love with the children and your family."
