(CRI) Chinese mainland singer-actor Tong Dawei, who released his maiden album in 2007, has recently gone back to singing.
This time, he contributed his voice to the theme song for his own movie Scandal Maker and the song's name is Linda.
In Scandal Maker or Wai Gong Fang Ling 38, Tong Dawei co-stars with Taiwan actress Michelle Chen and acts as her father.
Actress Swan Wen Xin portrays Tong Dawei's girl friend in the movie. She recently disclosed an interesting detail during shooting.
"My first scene took place when I was dating Tong Dawei. Unexpectedly, he ate lots of pig intestine throughout the whole morning, which made him smell terrible. I finished shooting this scene with my utmost endurance."
Scandal Maker tells the story of a popular radio DJ He Zhiwu portrayed by Tong Dawei and his sudden encounter with a single parent portrayed by Michelle Chen.
The film is due for release in Chinese theatres on Friday, November 11th.
