Morning ladies for this month's style steal I just had to recreate this outfit that Heidi Klum is wearing as it's definitely a look I could wear with similar pieces in my wardrobe & is an outfit that I just love - simple, classic with that little bit of detailing to stop the outfit looking plain.
So without further ado here's how I'd re-create the look with finds currently on the high street.
Starting with the one piece of clothing that totally makes this outfit & that's the military coat. I actually already own this beauty, in fact I bought it back in August as I just love the timelessness of the design. Plus it's a great midi length so it doesn't feel as overwhelming as some long coats can.
Then moving onto the polo neck jumper. I'd advise sizing up in this as I love an oversized polo neck teamed with jeans like Heidi's wearing. It will even look great worn over leather leggings or a simple 'A' line skirt or even cigarette trousers & ballet pumps/trainers. I've got a cheap as chips one from Primark hanging in my wardrobe that doesn't owe me a penny that I bought to see if it really was that useful & after several winters I can vouch for the fact that I'll certainly be updating mine when it wears out & also investing in something a little more expensive as they really are a fab wardrobe staple.
Moving onto the jeans & I just love the colour & style of these turned up relaxed slim legged ones. This shade of denim is just perfect for teaming with black.
And finally if you're on the look out for a pair of block heel ankle boots this winter, what about these?! I'm just loving that extra little bit of detailing, which will really lift the simplest of outfits.
Back to today & I'm bringing out my new snake print pleated midi & layering it over some cashmere & a blazer. With a supersized cashmere scarf for added warmth.

So ladies what do you think? Is Heidi's look something you can see yourself recreating? Perhaps it's an outfit that you can shop your wardrobe & easily recreate? Or perhaps you like the look in principal but would make a few changes? If so how would you tweak it to suit you? As always I'd love to hear your thoughts.
