Morning ladies today I want to introduce you to a brand that you may not be aware of called Hope Fashion, who create & design clothing that offers 'wearable & stylish clothes in quality fabrics' with 'fluid designs created for real body shapes & proportions'.
Their ethos is to enable women to look & feel beautifully confident in clothing that allows you to get on with your day to day life, that's effortlessly stylish & fun with designs being simplistic & contemporary.
With clothing designed to enhance & work with your height & proportions to create the best silhouette they have shifted the focus on sizes to develop a sizing system that focuses on just this & cater for those of us who are from a size 8 to 20, both curvy & slim. Plus wherever possible they support the British Fashion industry & almost 50% of their collection carries the 'made in Britain' label.
I've been lucky enough to have been asked to choose a few pieces from their latest collection to style, so here's what I choose.
The first thing that caught my eye was this jumper as one thing I can't resist this time of year is loose fitting knitwear that can be teamed with one of my summer camisoles, so as soon as I saw the above deep vee jumper I was instantly sold.
Add to the fact that it contains 10% cashmere & the 'V' of the jumper is perfect for layering over any silk lace trim camisole then it's a definite match made in heaven for me. I also love the added detail with the slightly lower dipped back hem, which will also make it perfect for wearing over leather leggings for those of us who like something that covers our bum when wearing more fitted trousers,
I instantly thought the jumper would be perfect for dressing down with some skinny distressed jeans but as I've already mentioned would equally look fab dressed up with leather leggings or cigarette pants, not to mention a pleated midi skirt.
I'm wearing the dual slim size below & as you can see from the photos whilst it is of a loose fit design it's not too oversized to look shapeless & is the perfect shade of grey to pair with denim.

The second item I chose was their long line waistcoat, which is made from a thick jersey material & has seamed detailing & raw edges. This long line waistcoat is perfect for layering over shirts & knitwear & can be styled stimilar to a shorter length gilet.
I'm wearing the dual slim size, which is designed for sizes 8 to 14 & have gone for the light grey colour, although it is also available in a mid grey.
I love this style of outerwear dressed down & have teamed mine with a thick cashmere scarf for warmth, my faux leather biker trousers & trainers. Although of course there are numerous ways it can be worn - heeled with a simple black poloneck & cigarette pants would look effortlessly chic, as would a maxi dress worn underneath & teamed with a faux fur stole.

Finally as we all love a little black dress to two I thought the below dress would make a great daytime version.
Described as being inspired by the kimono I have to totally agree with the description that the dress drapes beautifully. In fact it was the first thing I noticed about it as soon as I tried it on, that & the lovely neckline, which is incredibly flattering. Plus it's made from a really lovely quality & weight jersey fabric.
I'm wearing the regular length & I will admit when choosing the dress there were a couple of things I was a little worried about. Firstly because the dress is a one size fits all I was concerned that the dress would be shapeless & just hang off me but actually I was pleasantly surprised as whilst it's a loose fit it doesn't look oversized & although I've styled it below with a belt to add a little definition & to raise the hemline slightly it could so easily be worn unbelted & layered & over leather leggings.
The second concern was that the split at the front might be too high & expose certain parts that I didn't want exposing but actually when worn belted due to the drape of the fabric this really isn't a problem. If I were to wear it loose as a tunic I might tack the first couple of inches to protect my modesty but if you're going to wear with thick opaque tights then there probably isn't any need & of course it will depend on your height.
I've layering mine today with a simple leather biker jacket & some statement studded ankle boots.

So what do I think of the brand? Well I have to say I'm really impressed. The quality is second to none, with great attention to detail & definitely feels a little special & different to a lot of high street brands.
Before the clothes arrived I had been worried that because my normal size of clothing didn't fall in the middle of their sizes that the items would feel to big & unflattering on me but I really needn't have worried. If I hadn't of known about their one size fits all I would have thought the garments had been made in various sizes as normal & can really see these pieces washing & wearing well so I'd definitely recommend them in terms of investment. Plus if you sign up to their newsletter see here, you can get 10% off your first order :-)
