The event winter season will open with the Visma Ski Classic Prologue on 27 November 2016 and the cross-country opening event in Pontresina from 27 November to 3 December 2016. Spring 2017 sees the tenth anniversary of the Festival da Jazz celebrated over the last weekend in March, with a Pre-Sound Night Extended featuring a whole array of jazz concerts. The Badrutt’s Palace Hotel is launching Europe’s first ever Vintage Cigar Lounge with a selection of at least ten different cigar types from the period prior to the Cuban embargo as well as other traditional ranges by other brands.
