(CRI) A live-action film adaptation of Tsukasa Hojo's detective comedy manga "City Hunter" has been given a green light in China.
The film could hit theaters as early as December 2018.
Chinese actor Huang Xiaoming will take the lead role as the skilled but lecherous private detective, and Tang Jili will be the director.
It is not the first live action of the comic "City Hunter" as Japan and South Korea have adapted it into both film and TV series.
