On January 16, 2024, Queen Letizia attended a working meeting with the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) at its headquarters in Madrid. At the meeting, the Queen received information about the achievements of the organization in 2023 and its projects for 2024. Queen Letizia is the honorary president of the AECC. AECC is a social and private organization which allocates the largest funds to cancer research in Spain.
