On April 12, 2023, The Duchess of Edinburgh attended Mencap's health inequalities summit at St Bartholomew’s Hospital in London to receive more information about the healthcare inequalities faced by people with a learning disability. The Duchess met Treat Me Well campaigners and people involved in the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism. The Duchess is Mencap's Royal Patron.
