On July 28, 2022, Princess Benedikte of Denmark visited the Scout Camp 2022 in Nature Park Hedeland near Roskilde. Princess Benedikte took over the chair of the Girl Scouts Council after her mother, Queen Ingrid, who was chair from 1939 to 1965. The Girl Scouts Council is an umbrella organization for girl scouts in Denmark.
