On June 30, 2022, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of The Netherlands attended a gala performance at Stopera in Amsterdam, held to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Dutch National Ballet. Two hundred dancers, including all dancers from the Dutch National Ballet, the dancers of the company's Junior Company and all students of the National Ballet Academy participated in the performance.
