On November 19, 2021, Belgian Queen Mathilde visited the Sint Franciscus nursing home in Vinkt. On the occasion of the Reading Week taking place from 20 to 28 November, 2021, the Queen read a few extracts from a book to an audience of both elderly and young people. The Reading Week is organized by Iedereen Leest (Everybody Reads), a non-profit organization aiming to inspire people to read and to make reading accessible for everybody.
