On April 12, 2021, Queen Letizia of Spain attended a memorial event organized by the Congress of Deputies in honour of Clara Campoamor Rodríguez. The event was the first activity with which the country will celebrate the 90th anniversary of the approval of the women's suffrage in Spain.
