Queen Letizia attended a working meeting with The Spanish Committee of Representatives of Persons with Disabilities (CERMI), which is a platform that works to represent and defend people with disabilities. The meeting was held at the headquarters of CERMI in Madrid. The Queen was given information about the activities and projects of the organization.
CERMI also works to protect human rights of people with disabilities, both individually and as a whole. CERMI establishes contacts with public authorities, stakeholders and society to raise awareness about the needs and claims of this social group.
