On October 19, 2020, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark and Denmark's Minister for Development Aid Rasmus Prehn met with Nobel Peace Prize winner and Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) David Beasley at Frederik VIII's Palace of Amalienborg in Copenhagen.
This year’s Nobel Peace Prize's winner was the United Nation’s World Food Programme (WFP), which is an organization led by former South Carolina governor, David Beasley. The Programme provides lifesaving food aid to millions of people across the world.
The United Nations World Food Programme is the world’s largest humanitarian organization. It saves lives in emergencies and supports a sustainable future for people suffering from conflicts, disasters and the impact of climate change.
