The 40 key projects cover five areas: pushing forward the construction of existing major projects, improving municipal services and other supporting services, developing the film base, attracting businesses, and strengthening ecological governance. Among them, a total of six projects are directly targeted at better serving the new Huairou campus of the Beijing Film Academy.
Yangsong town will compile a development plan for its film industry in accordance with the industrial layout of Huairou Science City, and further integrate the film and television industry with science and technology. By optimizing the business environment, Yangsong plans to attract 360 leading registered enterprises and hidden champions in science and technology, film and television culture, and the financial industry this year. It will also speed up the construction of its production headquarters base and Bona Film Group's post-production facilities. In addition, it will guide the transformation of old factories and plants.
"The implementation of these 40 key projects will expand the film and TV industry to cover science and technology, entertainment and other fields, and turn the base into another landmark along with the core area of Huairou Science City," explained an official from Yangsong town. "At the same time, it will further stimulate the overall development of Huairou district."
