| Just like every year, Danish Queen Margrethe hosted the traditional New Year receptions also this year. The first reception was held at Christian VII's Palace in Amalienborg on January 2, 2020 for the Supreme Court Judges, the Royal Life Guards and the Guard House Regiments. Later in the day, a second reception was held for the Diplomatic Corps at Christiansborg Palace. The Crown Prince Couple were also present at both receptions. (Crown Princess Mary had worn the dress on three other occasions before, including the New Year Diplomatic reception in 2016.) |
