| On January 14, 2020, Queen Margrethe II attended the opening of the North Wing at Rigshospitalet in Copenhagen. The new building is a treatment building that will in future be used for, among other things, the treatment of patients with burns, epilepsy as well as critical brain and nervous diseases. The construction of the North Wing began in January 2014, and by that inauguration of the first phase of the new building, the Rigshospitalet is expanded by 54,700 square meters. |
