| On January 15, 2020, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima held the second New Year's reception for foreign diplomats and representatives of international organizations based in the Netherlands. The reception took place at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam. Princess Beatrix, Princess Margriet and Prof. Pieter van Vollenhoven were present at the reception.
