| On October 9, 2019, Queen Mathilde attended the colloquium "Connecting the Dots: One Planet, One Health, One Future" organized by The Institute of Tropical Medicine (ITM) at the Zuiderkroon in Antwerp. The Queen gave an opening speech at the event. This year, the annual event is held for the 60th time. ITM aims at the advancement and spread of the sciences that contribute to tropical medicine and to public health in developing countries, inclusive of their global dimensions. |
