| On October 10, 2019, King Abdullah II and Queen Rania visited Egypt. The royal couple was welcomed by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his spouse, Mrs Entissar Amer, at Cairo International Airport. The bilateral and expanded talks, held at Al Ittihadiya Presidential Palace, covered the strong bilateral ties and keenness to bolster cooperation, especially in the fields of economy, trade, and investment.
