The Duchess of Cornwall visited The Royal School of Needlework

On September 05, 2019, The Duchess of Cornwall visited The Royal School of Needlework at Hampton Court Palace in London to launch the ‘Faces & Figures in Stitch’ exhibition. Founded in 1872, Royal Needlework creates bespoke commissions for the future as well as restoring historical textiles and heirlooms. At the ‘Faces & Figures in Stitch’ exhibition, more than 100 embroideries of key figures in history, including William Shakespeare, Nelson Mandela and David Bowie are being displayed.
