| Queen Maxima is making a two day working visit to Ethiopia in her role as the UN Secretary-General’s Special Advocate for Inclusive Finance for Development upon the invitation of the country’s government. On the second day of her visit to Ethiopia, The Queen visited the National Bank and Belcash company in Addis Ababa. Belcash offers products that include a portable power supply with solar panels. Around 57% of Ethiopians have no mains electricity, which limits their development prospects. |
