(China Plus) Box office sales for "Avengers: Endgame" has overtaken "Operation Red Sea" to become the third-highest grossing film on the Chinese mainland.
Ticket sales for "Endgame" have reached over 542 million US dollars as of early evening on May 3rd, Beijing time.
"Wolf Warrior 2" still tops the overall box office records in China, while "Wandering Earth" remains second.
Globally, "Avengers: Endgame" is expected to become the highest grossing film ever at the box office. "Avatar" reached 2.8 billion US dollars, while "Titanic" earned 2.2 billion US dollars. "Avengers: Endgame" has so far earned 1.7 billion US dollars, ranking 6th.
