| On April 24, 2019, The Countess of Wessex visited Wittering village in Cambridgeshire to open a new play park for the local community, funded by the RAF Benevolent Fund. The Countess is Honorary Air Commodore of RAF Wittering. The RAF Benevolent Fund, celebrating its centenary this year, provides support to RAF personnel, their families and veterans. During the visit The Countess officially opened the new park, which was inspired by designs from children in the local community. |
