(Toggle) Taiwanese model-actress Lin Chi-ling was invited to perform on CCTV New Year’s Gala, which is the most-watched Chinese New Year countdown programme.
On the show, she paired up with a professional synchronised swimming troupe to put on a water ballet performance to Chinese singer Wang Feng’s ‘To Blossom’. Dressed in a red outfit, the 44-year-old stunned many with her performance.
The model-actress first entered the stage dressed as a flower fairy amongst the blossoming flowers.
Later, she moved to sit on a large hoop, adorned with flowers, before plunging straight into the water to begin her water ballet performance. The dance was expertly executed, with Chi-ling collaborating with the synchronised dancers to put on a flawless routine.
The performance was well received by the audience, with many netizens praising Chi-ling for her graceful and elegant dance. “Chi-ling is basically a fairy,” one wrote, while another expressed their surprise that the model-actress could dance so well.
