Morning ladies & happy Sunday. Today I want to talk all things Hush, a brand regular followers will know I'm particularly fond of, who have recently dropped a new collection online & today I thought it would be fun to share my favourite pieces.
Now this collection will be of particular interest to all fellow leopard print lovers as they've got some stunning pieces all featuring the print, that will definitely tempt you to get 'clicking the button'. Starting with the above statement of a faux fur coat, that will keep you cosy & warm come the arrival of the cold weather & looks so stylish when teamed with wardrobe classics such as a simple black crew neck sweater & jeans as shown above. In my opinion a real statement piece that you'll wear year after year.
And keeping with the theme of leopard print I'm loving the above shirt dress. Style as shown above or wear with a biker jacket & trainers for a more casual feel. You could even add a little bit more interest & definition with the addition of a belt & layer with a crew neck jumper.
Now I've previously featured the above jumper in red but Hush have now also launched it in a more neutral navy. This would look great teamed with cigarette pants & heels for a night out as much as it would when worn with boyfriend jeans & ankle boots during the day.
Or if all over leopard print is more your thing then how about the above crew neck jumper. I'd team this with a simple black maxi skirt, like this one, or even an 'A' line leather skirt, like this one, with simple block heel ankle boots such as these.
For an easy go to look for party season what about the above leopard print cami. Style with heeled ankle boots like these & coated jeans like these & finish the look off with a jacket like this.
Or you could even team the camisole with the above maxi skirt to give the illusion of a dress.
Of course no Autumn/Winter wardrobe is complete without a few statement scarves, especially leopard print ones & the above scarf would make a great staple. I just love the vibrancy of the blue print, which would be sure to brighten up even the darkest of winter days.
Moving away from leopard print now & onto other wardrobe staples that are perfect for this time of year. I'm personally loving the hem detailing of the above maxi skirt that can so easily be dressed up as shown above or down by teaming with trainers & a biker jacket like this one.
Then of course slogan tees are ideal for casual nights out. Team with heels, coated jeans & a blazer for a simple day to night look or for everyday style boyfriend jeans, trainers & an oversized cardi, such as this one.
Of course one thing we'll all be wearing a lot of over the coming months is knitwear & I personally find it's nice to have a few statement pieces amongst all the neutrals. The above Ziggy jumper is timeless & in a great neutral style & the star design will just help elevate the plainest of looks.
Needless to say staple knitwear in wardrobe neutrals like the above crew neck jumper are a real necessity. You may remember that I featured the above jumper in an outfit post at the beginning of the week here.
Likewise cashmere boyfriend fitting jumpers are equally really useful & can be so easily be layered. I have the above jumper in cream from a few seasons ago & it's one of those jumpers I just know is so easy to wear on days I'm not sure what to put on & can be worn with everything.
Then finishing with a couple of pairs of jeans. Firstly the above coated pair that are ideal for dressing up or down & are a great alternative to leather leggings.
And finally this timeless skinny pair.
I have a few pairs of Hush jeans from over the years, you may have noticed I've been feeling the love for an older biker pair recently & I must say I'm really impressed with the quality & fit of the denim. All wear really well, hold their shape & are still items I reach for season after season. You can see their full range of denim here.
Back to today & I'm bringing Bet back out of her box with a stunning new maxi skirt, that I've already featured above & have been sent by Hush, which I've teamed with their Cashmere Boyfriend Jumper.
The jumper is a lovely light weight that is true to size (I'm wearing an XS) & is perfect for wearing loose with leather leggings or tucked in at the front like I've done today with a skirt or jeans.
As I've already mentioned I have a similar knit of theirs in cream from a few years ago & I just find it a really useful knit to be able to wear with a whole host of items, as well as layer with a frill detailed shirt.
As you can see from the above image their Devore Leopard Print Maxi Skirt has a soft black background with a navy & dusk pink leopard print. I absolutely love navy & black worn together as I think the colour combination looks really elegant & is always something I plan to wear more of so hopefully the skirt will remind me to do so.
I've sized down in the skirt (I'm wearing a size 6) & reckon this is going to be a great skirt to dress up or down. I just love the textured fabric & who doesn't love an elasticated waist. Plus the side splits just add that little bit extra glamour not to mention make it a lot easier to walk in!
