(Toggle) Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse recently touched the hearts of many when he talked about his relationship with his girlfriend of three years, fellow actress Faye Wong. He shared that he would make an effort to cook for her whenever they were at home and even added that he “enjoys everything that she cooks for me.”
In the latest episode of his cooking programme, Chef Nic, Nicholas invited actors Wong Cho Lam and his wife, Leanne Li to guest star where they cooked various dishes together.
Leanne then asked Nicholas if he had ever prepared a meal for Faye, to which he answered, “I cook for her all the time at home.”
This rare gesture of affection surprised many as the couple often kept a low-profile and rarely talked about their relationship publicly.
Nicholas also went on to mention that, similarly to Cho Lam and Leanne, he and Faye did not have a habit of sending gifts to each other to celebrate an occasion. Instead, their small meaningful gestures are what keeps them close.
Nicholas and Faye first split in 2002 but got back together in 2014, three years after his divorce with Cecilia Cheung. The couple have been dating ever since and their reunion has been dubbed the “reunion of the century.”
