(Toggle) Wang Leehom turned 41 (his birthday falls on May 17) in style, throwing a celebratory party in the company of his close friends. Among the familiar faces spotted were Huang Xiaoming, Zhang Ziyi and her husband, Wang Feng. Leehom also took the opportunity to promote his concert documentary, Open Fire, at the party.
The birthday bash is said to have turned into a mini concert of sorts, with many of the guests picking up the microphone to take turns to sing. In particular, Xiaoming picked Leehom’s hit song ‘Ai De Jiu Shi Ni’, with the birthday boy playing the piano accompaniment for his guests.
After the party, Leehom posted snaps taken during the celebration with the caption, “I celebrated my birthday! Thank you for everyone’s well wishes!”
Netizens noted that the doting father kept to his word and kept his daughter’s faces away from the public eye, as they did not appear in his photos. He previously explained that he does this in order to protect them, and photos showing their full faces have never been released.
Apart from that observation, commenters also shared that Leehom’s boyish looks have not changed over the years, and showered praise on the singer for successfully maintaining his youthful looks.
