Like every year, this year too i will be celebrating Diwali in Delhi, the place where i was born and brought up. Diwali is a festival of twinkling lights, lots of optimism in the air, everyone dressed traditionally, a celebratory ambience that unites the nation. My one year old son is already excited for the festival so am i. I feel like a child once again whilst celebrating diwali with him, bursting the occasional firecracker, relishing, rather binging on mithai's, and all my favourite Indian food are some of the highlights for my celebration of diwali this year.
I also urge everyone to keep it clean and green and most importantly be safe!
