Celebrating Diwali with &TV artists

Saumya Tandon a.k.a Anita from Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai
What I miss most about Diwali from my childhood is playing cards with is my parents and sister. What I love most about Diwali is the food, sweets and decorating the house. This is the only time where I could afford eating sweets and the best part is that they would all be homemade. I urge all the viewers of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, to celebrate a peaceful and pollution free Diwali.
Aasif Sheikh aka Vibhuti from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai
Diwali until today is one of my favourite festivals. During my childhood I always thought that Diwali is one of our festivals. I used to stay in a bungalow in Delhi so I remember lighting Diyas and Decorating my Bungalow and having a store room full of sweets. But this time with my shooting schedule I am hoping to get one more day of leave where I could invite my friends and relatives to my place and celebrate together. Diwali is a great festival and my only message to my fans that avoid bursting crackers and have a very safe and happy Diwlai.
Yogesh Tripathi aka Happu Singh from Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai
Diwlai for me back then only meant to burst crackers that my parents bought like Fuljari, Zammen Chakri, Fountain etc. One of the things that I used to enjoy the most was to hide the crackers of my friends. This time I will celebrate Diwlai with my friends and my wife as I won’t be able to go to my hometown. I am not a foodie as such but I love to cook thus this Diwlai I plan to cook Rasmalai myself and rest of the dishes will be cooked by my wife. My message to my fans would be that enjoy Diwlai to the fullest and stay away from the crackers as they are harmful.
Gaurav Khanna a.k.a Dr. Akshay Sinha from Tere Bin
Diwali is my most favourite festival. Back then, during my school days at Diwali we used to get a lot of firecrackers as kids and our main attraction used to be that. But then once we realised how much noise and air pollution happens because of that, we started avoiding firecrackers. Then the time was spent in family gatherings and playing card games. As I am from Kanpur, the weather starts getting quite cooler by Diwali, so we used to always wear new heavy Indian attires and then gorge on lovely north Indian sweets. This Diwali will be special as I would be celebrating it with my fiancé and friends in Mumbai. I wish all my viewers of Tere Bin a very happy Diwali and a wonderful year ahead.
Shefali Sharma a.k.a Vijaya from Tere Bin
I come from joint family so the best part about Diwali was that my entire family used to get together and do Pooja decorations, cleaning the house, burning firecrackers and playing games. This Diwali for me brings in a little more excitement as I will cook all the sweets myself and will be celebrating it with my close friends and family. I will also visit our office and perform Pooja. As the day ends my husband and I plan on playing games and bursting little crackers with the needy. Wishing all the viewers of Tere Bin a very Happy Diwali.
Khushboo Tawde aka Dr. Nandini Bhatt from Tere Bin
Diwali always reminds of crackers and a very weird incident where I burnt my hair. The incident has been stuck ever since and thus I’m still afraid of crackers. Being, a child I loved helping my mother to clean the house, making all the Diwlai food (Chakkli, Karanji) and by the evening lighting diyas and lanterns. My message to all the viewers of Tere Bin is have a wonderful & safe Diwali and try to avoid bursting crackers as they create Noise and Air Pollution.
Ruhana Khanna aka Krishna from Gangaa
I usually help my mom in making rangoli. I plan to buy lot of diyas and candles to decorate my home. I will do laxmi pooja with my parents. I will eat a lot of sweets especially Kaju Barfi. I wish all the viewers of Gangaa, a very happy and safe Diwali. May goddess laxmi fulfil all your dreams.
Vishal Vashisht aka Sagar from Gangaa
In my childhood, my father used to get crackers for me every year. But as I have grown older, I have realised that the money that is invested in buying crackers could be used for much better things in life. This Diwali I plan to take a break from my shoot and go to Kolkata my hometown and celebrate Diwali with my family. Being in the profession I am, I avoid having oily food but Diwlai is the only time I don’t hesitate to gorge onto food and sweets because Diwali without food seems just incomplete. Wishing all my fans and viewers of Gangaa a very Happy Diwali and a safe one! Wear new clothes, have sweets but try and avoid bursting crackers and it affects the environment.
Saniya Tauqueer aka Manpreet from Waaris
Last year Diwali was the most memorable one. I enjoyed bursting crackers with all my family and friends. We lit diyas, made rangoli and the best part was that we had a variety of sweets and food. I hope I do the all the same things this Diwali also. I’m hoping I get a get a day off from the shoot, but if I don’t I will burst crackers there with my entire team, make rangoli out of Aarti (Amba) didi’s room. Wishing all the viewers of Waaris a very happy and prosperous Diwali.
Anand Suryavanshi aka Harjeet from Waaris
My fondest memory of Diwali is of pestering parents for loads of crackers & then bursting them with a lot of daring & with bare hands. Once a rocket burnt by me landed at my neighbor's dining table while they were eating. That was scary! I got a massive scolding from everyone. This year, I will be spending Diwali with my family and close friends. I plan to gorge on all sweets and the rich festive food. I wish the viewers of Waaris, a happy and safe Diwali. Spend wisely, donate to the needy and bring a smile in those people’s lives who need it the most.
Rythasha Rathore aka Komal from Badho Bahu
My most memorable childhood Diwali is when I celebrated with my Dadi and Dada in Gujarat. We made Rangoli, lit up our house with diyas and in the evening all my cousins and relatives used to visit our house. We then had a family dinner. This Diwali I have planned to be at home, do puja with my parents and sleep a lot because I have a day off. I will gorge on Diwali sweets, which I love the most. My message to all the viewers of Badho Bahu would be to have fun, spend time with your family and don’t burst crackers because they are bad for environment. They create noise pollution and scare the dogs.
Prince Narula aka Lucky from Badho Bahu
During my childhood days we used to have a family get together during Diwali. Diwali is a very important festival for me as well as for my family. I will first go for my shoot. Then I’ll go to my home and will decorate it and light candles. I love Kaju barfi so will definitely have them. Apart from that I sometimes make sweets with my mom so I might cook and if not that then I may go to market and get sweets for myself. I wish the viewers of Badho Bahu, a happy and safe Diwali. Celebrate this festival with love and care. Be aware of crackers and be safe.
