On August 9, 2021, Queen Elizabeth II arrived at Balmoral Castle in Ballater, Aberdeenshire for her summer holiday. In a small welcoming ceremony that took place outside the Castle gates, The Queen inspected a Guard of Honour formed of the 5 SCOTS, Balaklava Company, 5th Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
